• Be specific

• Focus on areas of focus and specialities

• Focus on your ideal client

• Address fee and insurance information

• Let people know how they can reach out (e.g. website, phone, email)

• If you are open to connecting in person/virtually for networking and next steps/how to do so

• Reply to your responses

Do Not

• Be vague

• Forget to market yourself, your ideal client, and niche/specialization

• Write paragraphs of text (consider short attention spans)

• Focus on being a generalist and working with every type of client

• Leave out contact information
